The organization was founded in 1972 to serve the needs of vulnerable populations throughout New York City.
The Clinical Director will utilize a range of appropriate interventions, in conjunction with the case manager(s), coordinate, supervise, and support client service activities including assessment, referral, and individual and/or group counseling in this Out-Patient Drug Treatment not-for-profit counseling program.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Coordinate and Supervise social work interns and CASAC interns Co-facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings/case conferences Responsible to review clinicians' treatment and prevention files Oversight of required clinical paperwork and files Assist in the formulation of OASAS annual work plan Comprehensive understanding of and compliance with OASAS policy and procedures Responsible for audits to and communication with OASAS program officers Maintain clinical caseload including assess identified clients' needs for required service or referral, regular contact with clients and referral to identified service providers Conduct weekly outreach (i.
e.
Community Residence meetings, Detox, Hospitals etc.
) Other duties as may be required.
Qualifications:
LMHC, LCSW, or LMSW with a minimum of five years experience in the field of substance use disorder.
Background in individual and group behavior and/or family relationships, knowledge of physical and mental illness, and/or issues of drug and alcohol abuse.
Must have the ability to establish rapport with designated clientele (youth, family, aging, persons of different cultures).
Ability to organize, prioritize as well as to work independently, and manage multiple issues to completion including necessary client follow-up and reports.
Comprehensive knowledge of issues related to a defined clientele Excellent communication skills including oral and written with the ability to work with clients in crisis.

Salary Range:
$65,000 - $72,000 (depending on experience)Work Schedule:
